What should your phone become?

Scan one code with your normal camera app and the phone in your pocket turns into a webcam, document camera, barcode scanner, wireless microphone or trackpad for the computer in front of you. It takes about ten seconds.

Why it works this way

No app store detour, no account, no cable

Most phone-to-computer tools ask you to install something on both devices and sign in before you can test whether they even help. Use My Phone runs entirely in the browser you already have.

  1. 01

Pair with your normal camera app

Point the phone at the code on screen. A link appears, you tap it, and the phone is connected.

  2. 02

    Everything stays on your network

Video, files and audio travel directly between your two devices over your own Wi-Fi rather than through a cloud service.

  3. 03

    Codes expire in ten minutes

Pairing codes are short-lived so nobody can connect to your computer later using an old code.

Open this on your computer

Use My Phone connects your phone to a computer, so the code you scan has to be on the other screen. Open this page there and you are paired in about ten seconds.

Common questions

Do I need to install an app on my phone?

No. Every tool runs in the mobile browser you already have. You scan a code with the standard camera app and the page opens itself.

Is it really free?

Yes — every tool, with no card and no trial window. Signing in is optional and only saves your phones for one-tap reconnecting.

Does my video or audio go to a server?

It travels between your phone and your computer across your own local network. Sessions are not stored for you to worry about later.

Why will my phone not connect?

Almost always because the phone and computer are on different networks — a guest Wi-Fi, or the phone on mobile data. Put both on the same network and it connects.
